Yes, there really is a 2.0 version of the Annoy-A-Tron.

And yes, again. We’ve actually paid for and used an Annoy-A-Tron.  Albeit it was version 1.0 and didn’t have the volume control of the 2.0., the effect remained the same. The A-A-T is a simple, battery-operated device that emits a high-pitch beep/hiss/squeal sound at random intervals, making it not only obnoxiously annoying, but incredibly hard to find. You can turn it on and hide it for MONTHS at a time. Oh my goodness.
