If you don’t mind looking like a total noob, and you feel confident you won’t absolutely kill yourself or someone else, the Yike Bike might be right up your alley. Why? First of all, it’s an electric bike that folds up and you can carry it in a bag. Second of all, re-read the first of all.

Now, it’s not a bike like you would use for actual biking, rather it’s more of a quick point-A to point-b type bike that can zip you a few blocks down the road in a jiffy. It can go around 5-6 miles on a single charge, which according to the New Zealand-based website says only takes 30 minutes and tops out at a mild 12 mph. But hey, that’s still fast enough if you’re trying to speed across campus or to grab a quick bite to eat without having to get in the car.

And unlike other personal transportation devices (that we continue to lambaste and hate), this one actually looks like a lot of fun.Plus, when it’s folded up it looks like a bad guy from either Terminator or Transformers. Aww yeah… It’s not available in the USA (boo!) but maybe someday…
